About Us

The Eye Foundation was founded by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO), part of a 150 year legacy of medical eye specialists providing vital services, eye health research, sustainable aid and education and training.

The Foundation’s vision is for all people in Australia and the surrounding region to be given the opportunity and resources to realise their potential to see. Our mission is to work together to achieve our vision.

We implement our vision and mission by working with the ophthalmic and allied health community, the public and business community and government to provide funding for research, sustainable aid in the field of eye health and by providing best practice services.
