This July, The Eye Foundation successfully launched a new initiative to help raise awareness and vital funds for eye health research. JULeye is a month-long campaign designed to own the month of July and firmly place eye health on the Australian health calendar. This was made possible by over $680,000 in pro bono support and over $640,000 in funds for research projects to help find the causes and cures for glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and rare diseases, along with indigenous eye health projects. A specially designed website juleye.com.au will keep you updated on all the excitement in JULeye - live from early June 2008. |
